Since the mid-1980s, City Models has been at the forefront of the Atlantic Canadian modeling industry with talent in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, New York, Italy, Spain and Germany.
Over the years the agency has positioned itself as a professional organization built on a solid foundation of history and experience, which allows its talent to innovate, create and evolve in an ever-changing industry. Our strong reputation for personal service and our excellent eye for discovering and developing new talent fuels the growth and strength of our models and agents.
In 1995, City Models introduced the East Coast Top Model Search, which took acting in Halifax to a new level. In 2008, our agency produced the first-ever Atlantic Fashion Week. This signature event has garnered international media attention and will continue to highlight our local fashion industry for years to come.
Today, City Models continues to represent male, female and child divisions for runway, commercial print, television and film. In addition to these traditional services, City Models also provides talent as brand ambassadors as well as, promotional ,event and tradeshow staffing.
City Models is an accredited member of the World Modelling Association.
The Director
City Models director Angela Campagnoni has been in the modeling and acting industry for over 20 years.
As a former fashion designer, Campagnoni has worked both on and off the runway for many nationally recognized brands. In 2001, she joined the City Models talent roster where she also worked as an instructor for newly discovered talent. She later purchased the agency from former owner Cheryl Chafe, and quickly began to bring the local fashion industry to new heights.
In a successful attempt to shine an international spotlight on Atlantic Canada’s models and fashion designers, Campagnoni and her agency developed and produced the first-ever Atlantic Fashion Week.
Having been showcased by major media outlets including Fashion Television, Atlantic Fashion Week will continue to push and nurture the fashion industry to its fullest capacity for years to come.
